Identifying Energy Cords
Energy cords can be created consciously or unconsciously, and they often form through repeated emotional, sexual, mental, or spiritual interactions — especially during trauma, intimacy, dependency, or manipulation. These cords can either feed, drain, or entangle the person depending on the nature of the relationship or event.

This represents the soul’s growth moments (7 yr cycles), that begin to reveal the core wounds of the wounds that expand with age and more experiences. Your personal growth moments will typically land on the 7 yr mark, but it can be the year before/after the 7 yr mark, (6 or 8 vs 7)
1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) — “I Am”
Themes: Survival, safety, family, tribe, home, money, physical body
Possible Energy Cords:
Parental cords (especially mother/father)
Childhood home/family line cords (ancestral trauma)
Financial dependency cords (jobs, partners, institutions)
Cords to abusers or violators of safety
Homeland/geographical cords (place trauma or tribal identity)
Unhealed birth trauma cords
Cords to children (especially when parent is over-responsible or controlling)
Generational cords around poverty, scarcity, survival guilt
2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) — “I Feel”
Themes: Emotions, intimacy, sexuality, creativity, relationships
Possible Energy Cords:
Sexual partners (even one-time encounters – saliva or bodily fluids)
Unresolved relationship partners or codependent attachments
Emotional enmeshment with a parent or caregiver (especially mother)
Addiction-based cords (to substances, food, sex, pleasure-seeking)
